Kim Hunter has been selected as the recipient of the Arthur W. Page Society’s 2012 Distinguished Service Award. He is the founder of LAGRANT COMMUNICATIONS, The LAGRANT Foundation and KLH & Associates, a multicultural executive recruitment firm.
The Distinguished Service Award is presented to individuals who have devoted themselves to services that help build and nurture the profession. As an advocate for education, Hunter is the founder and chairman of The LAGRANT Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides scholarships, career development workshops, internships, mentorship and educational enrichment programs to minority students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees in advertising, marketing and public relations. He has raised more than $7.75 million for these programs in 14 years."The lives and careers of many communications professionals - indeed, of our next generation of leaders - have been impacted by Kim Hunter's heartfelt commitment to diversity and education," said Jon Iwata, senior vice president, Marketing and Communications, IBM and chairman of the Arthur W.
